The active ingredients in AcNo Solution include:

• 4% Niacinamide - a pro-vitamin that significantly reduces sebum excretion. It has potent anti-inflammatory and anti-bacterial properties that could offer a potential treatment option without the risk of bacterial resistance or side effects.

• 30% Perfluorocarbon Emulsion – a carrier agent that releases oxygen into the tissues. Anaerobic bacteria such as P. acne proliferate in skin with under-oxygenated conditions such as clogged pores. Creating an oxygenized environment is ideal in fighting acne, an anaerobic bacteria.

• Oligopeptide-10 – a patented antimicrobial peptide that exhibits excellent activity against the P. acne bacterium, and can replace antibiotics in long term acne treatment.

• Avena Sativa Extract – “wild oats” in Latin. It fights inflammation by reducing levels of inflammatory cytokines, which are chemicals of the immune system.
